How do you play the Ezreal + Hwei Blasters comp?

At the beginning of the game, put AD items on Hunter units since they’re easier to find than Tristana + another Blaster.

Blitzcrank isn’t in the final comp so put tank items on him and then transfer them later.

At level 5, just activate the Frost trait.

You can add Swain (allows you to play 2 Shapeshifter, 2 Vanguards), Hwei, or Zilean (the easiest to find and is a good unit).

At level 6, if you have 4 Vanguards, feel free to use the same backline as before. You will probably not win the entire stage but it’s you’ll have some decent rounds where you kill some units if you have some upgrades.

Level 7 is where you reroll for 3* units. Ezreal is the focus of the comp. He does more than Hwei so prioritize items for him. Mordekaiser 3* is very effective for strengthening the Vanguard frontline which doesn’t hold up as well in the late game.

At level 8 you just add Hecarim which is cheap; there aren’t any high cost units to look for.

Use the Arcana signifier on Hecarim to increase Ezreal’s AD and to give the frontline the Durability bonus.

If you’re not used to scouting & positioning for each opponent, use these two hexes as your default Ezreal placement; don’t corner him.

These spots will give the best angles for Ezreal’s cast. Hwei is the corner unit.

Items:

• Ezreal: IE, LW and Shojin or Red Buff
• Hwei : BB / Shojin, Morello (if no Red Buff Ez), AP
• Mordekaiser : Warmog, Gargoyle, Crownguard

Avoid making Steadfast because you need two Gloves for Ezreal. On the other hand, it’s ok to spend a Rod on Mordekaiser.

Augments:

• Shields Up to greatly reinforce your frontline
• Combat Bandages, same logic
• An Augment that gives you more items since you need to itemize 3 units e.g., Big Grab Bag, Pandora’s Items
• Silver econ Augment (Pandora’s Bench, Placebo)

Advice:

It’s a good comp when you slam early Shojin for tempo. The main thing is to avoid being contested.

Playing mainly around Ezreal instead of Hwei will greatly improve your placement for this comp.
