In 14.18, some traits are also getting reworked. Let’s preview Honeymancy real quick!
The challenge with Honeymancy before was that the damage having to be the same at each breakpoint didn’t give many tuning levers. Any buff to 5 and 7 also buffed 3 which was in a good spot. Likewise, you never really got to achieve the “SO MANY BEES” fantasy. We need more bees!!
Now, the baseline is always 5 bees at every level. But you also pass 3 bees on death, which can lead to a cool moment where your final unit has a lot of bees! From there, we can tune each trait breakpoint finely with the damage. And of course, 7 Honeymancy is really hard to hit and should be worth the payoff, so now the bees will attack twice as fast!
I know we’ve had a lot of reroll comps this set, but Honeymancy was meant to be one of those, and I hope this makes the trait more fun for players who enjoy our yellow friends.
