How to play Elise’s Heroic Augment : Spider Queen

In Stage 2, collect Elises and Shapeshifters (Jayce is easy to find). Don’t hesitate to buy units like Nomsy, Twitch, Kog’Maw if you’ve made AD items.

Don’t level. Prioritize making Elise items.

As soon as you’re on Level 4 with 50+ gold, slowroll to find Elise 3*. If you make Jayce 3 you can put AD items on him and find a remover later to transfer items to somebody else late game.

If you only have Elise 3* and AD items, you can put the AD items on Nomsy/Kog’Maw and then find another Hunter as you level. The priority is really Elise, and backline units at this point is only used as an item holders for Varus.

Play 6 Shapeshifters as quickly as possible to maximize Elise’s HP. The trait also synergizes with BT and her other items.

The final board looks like this with Varus, Smolder & Brian who increase potential damage.

If you don’t find 5-costs on Level 8 you can play whatever synergy bots you get for Varus, and keep Jayce until Briar appears.

Items

• Elise: BT & Warmog to stay alive and enhance Shapeshifter HP. Archangel for damage.
• Varus: IE, LW, Shojin or Red Buff
• Smolder: Extra AS or AD after itemizing Varus
• Nasus: Redemption to help Elise
• Briar: Sterak, BT

Artifacts

• Talisman of Ascension: Especially useful at the beginning of the game to solo rounds.
• Anima Visage: Massive HP making her difficult to kill
• Innervating Locket: The best according to Eybeam. Increases survivability and enables multiple casts.

Augments

• Spider Queen is mandatory
• +1 Shapeshifter to quickly get 6 Shapeshifter in Stage 4
• Unified Resistance to provide Resistances on top of HP
• Eternal Growth to stack HP
• Portable Forge because you can use of several Artifacts
