The new artifact Suspicious Trench Coat is the best performing Ornn item on GM+ with an average of 4.14. Here is all the broken tech that you can abuse to get the most out of the item. I will leave credits when+some more normal stuff.

Udry+Spark+AP

This is the most common use of Trench Coat I’ve seen in high elos. The copies do full damage, each have to be taken down twice, and are usually headed straight for your backline. Spark just makes it so even if Udyr isn’t hitting the carry, they still kill them.

Ornn+Protector’s Vow = 4 Items

This combo abuses the fact that Trench Coat does not have a mana reduction. Each Ornn copy will print a tailored item after just one auto attack, and even get the once-per combat shield on every copy… broken. Link to video.

Trench Coat+Diamond Hands = 4 Gold

This one is just silly. You get 1 gold for every copy, and because of the 50% HP split thresh hold 1 gold for the original for 4 gold total.

Any Fated + Trench Coat

Get the additional Yasuo shield when copies split, extra points for linking Thresh resistances for an unassailable frontline. Learned this from Aesah, check TFTcoaching for more tricks & use my discount: CLEMENT. Link to Aesah videos.

Unstable Treasure Chest+Trench Coat

You can print 12 items tailored items from this combo alone, and up to 24 if you somehow find the 2nd copy on UTC. Seeing this combo when Trash to Treasure was still enabled was a fun experience. Rare, but very powerful.

Normal Combos

If you don’t have a particular piece of these combos just use it as extra tanking/disruption. Galio shielding will stack, Annie/Lissandra will apply crowd control, and if you find Tattoo of Force, your 1st place rate is 45% in GM+.
