The early game is quite simple in terms of prerequisites. We want econ and be strong in Stage 3 so you can open fort Stage 2. Take Green Kayle because before hitting Irelia it’s difficult to have a good source of Shred on the board.

Our level 5 can look like this, especially if you build Morello. At 3-2 roll a little for Garen 3* (we’ll see why later). If you see Jax along the way you can buy him to 3* but it’s not necessary.

When we hit Garen 3* you can level & pick from various options. We can play 5 Storyweaver with Red Kayle to benefit from her AS due to longer fights and to be strong Stage 3. If you have Morello put it on Zoe.

Another version is to play 4 Warden (definitely better in many cases but you can’t control your shops). You can make Guinsoo for Zyra or Sivir because the fights will be long and you can easily recycle the item later.

You want to end up on this type of board. Irelia takes Red Buff or Morello. She uses Guinsoo and AD very well. Our board is a hybrid between Warden & Storyweaver because Irelia benefits from long duration fights.

If you have +1 Storyweaver you can build a board like this. The combination of Irelia/Morgana can output a lot of damage to the enemy backline because we have a strong frontline.

Augments

• +1 Storyweaver for tempo
• Healing Orbs/Harmacist to keep Garen alive
• Gargantuan Resolve even though Titan’s is nerfed
• Partial Ascension due to long fights
• Stationary Support to buff Garen

Items

• Garen wants increased Max HP so he benefits from items like BT, Titan’s, Sterak, Warmog, Redemption
• Irelia wants burn, Guinsoo, + AD
• If +1 Storyweaver we can put Shojin on Morgana to quickly spread Morello

Advice: You NEVER click on this Augment unless you already have Garen 2*. If you follow this, you won’t have to roll very much for Garen at 3-1 since you’ll only need 3 more.

This comp isn’t really secret tech or free LP. You need excellent tempo for a high placement.
