The first question is whether you should play her with Arcanists or Mythic?

With Arcanists she doesn’t have enough defensive stats and is at risk for being oneshot by many comps, so it’s preferable to play Mythic where her HP will be boosted.

This is a typical early game board. Nothing special, just 3 Mythic for trait stacking. You can add any arcanist at level 5 for more damage.

Our goal is to reroll for Neeko 3*. You can use this level 6 board to do so. Instead of Caitlyn/Illaoi, you can field 5 Mythic if you are lucky enough to find Lillia & Nautilus.

If you only find Lillia, replace Caitlyn.

After hitting Neeko 3* level to add more Mythics. You can also solo frontline Neeko when she’s itemized — when she’s surrounded by enemies the items will give her enough resistances and she’ll deal more damage.

Here’s a level 9 board with +1 Mythic. Without a +1 you can
– Remove Malphite and replace with Bard or
– Replace Malphite & Illaoi with 2* legendaries (Lissandra/Wukong/Rakan/Udyr)

Neeko Items

• You want her to tank & deal damage, which is why BT is excellent. The item’s shield works with Mythic’s max HP increase
• Same logic with Crownguard, max HP and damage
• Spell crit to synergize with Mythic AP increase
• If no BT, can make HoJ

Neeko can use Manazane well because she benefits a lot from chain Healing/Stacking.

For the other units,

• Lillia gets AP and mana generation items,
• Hwei or Soraka gets utility items (Shred/Burn) and
• Nautilus gets leftover tank items.

In the current meta there’s a lot of Kayn players (who buy Neekos) and Lissandra is popular — both make it difficult for Neeko to stand out. Don’t take Drop Blossom just because it shows up as an option. Only take it if choosing it will give you Neeko 2* at 2-1
