You’ve probably already seen this type of Peeba/Bill Gates Dragonlord board. It’s a very strong comp used to play for Top 1. It requires you to snowball the early game to accumulate a mountain of gold to obtain all the necessary units.

What interests us today is the augment “Tons of Stat”. It gives some stats to the entire team, nothing exceptional but acceptable. BUT there is one particular interaction between this augment and the Dragonlord Irelia board, related to Irelia’s cast mechanism.

Irelia casts every 8 attacks except that this augment gives her 4 “mana” and accelerates her cast to every 4 attacks. Dragonlord is a burst comp so accelerating the carry’s spell isn’t trivial. If you’re offered this on 4-2 and your game is going well, consider taking it!
