One more surprise for 14.9 patch! In addition to the 20 new artifacts, we also have 5 new support items that you can use!

On the TFT team, we like to encourage a sort of “bias to action”, where if someone on the team has the time and energy and sees something they want to make better about the game, they are empowered to do so. It helps us constantly improve the game.

So shout outs to @TheTruexy@twitter.com who was like “It feels like there isn’t enough variety in the support items. I want to fix that”…and then he did! Of course he went through the proper channels, had the work reviewed, etc…but the end result should be more options when picking this portal or playing Fine Vintage!

I’m personally excited for what we can do with Unstable Treasure Chest. I’m not sure it’s strong or anything, but the design space from it is pretty exciting, and we’re cooking up some cool ways to use it. Should be fun!

14.9 is shaping up to be a pretty exciting patch I hope. This weekend I’m going to be playing a ton of PBE to test it all, and we even set up a 64 person tournament to try it all out, with the artifact portal set to 100% to make sure we get eyes on it. Already some stuff being caught by passionate players (looking at you 2 million HP Tahm Kench), which is awesome to see.
