TFT has a LOT of content in each set. 59 champions, ~25 traits, ~35 items and their radiant versions, ~20 artifacts and support items, more than 200 augments, ~30 portals, etc etc. LOTS OF CONTENT.

Our hope is that everything, no matter what part of the game, might become someone’s favorite. That thing that feels special and unique to them that they lean into more than other players might. Obviously there is the meta, but sometimes there’s just that one thing that you feel attached to more than anyone else. This is especially true in the augment space, where we hope you’ll find a few augments that you just LOVE to play with.

As an example, for me this set, Mulched has become my secret weapon augment that I always do well with. Dryad isn’t exactly meta, but this augment pushes it to a fun version I just love, and seeing your trait give you more than 2000 HP is so cool to see! At this point, I’ll always pick it on 2-1. (It may need a tiny nerf though)
But yeah, everything in TFT is made with the thought of “What’s the dream behind this, and why will players love this one?”. It’s a really fun design space to work in, because there’s so many unique ways to push the content in fun directions. Even basic augments like Tiny but Deadly for example, that simply give your team attack speed, still have a dream of making your team strong and running over the opponent with a tiny team. Good stuff.
