Why Fated?
- Strong across all parts of the game
- Not at all dependent on +1 Fated, but you cap much higher with it
- Less vulnerable to backline access (with certain Fated tethers)

When to Play?
- Rageblade/Stoneplate/Bow openers
- Augments/Portals that lets you secure BIS items (Pandora’s, Radiant Relics, Anvil Buffet)
- Other 3-cost rerollers in the lobby (Bard/Yone)
- A weak opener since you’ll get carousel priority to secure Bows
When to Roll?
- Slowroll on 7 OR roll until stable (Aphelios 2* + Thresh 2*, 5 Fated) then slow roll on 8 for better Sett/Syndra odds
- Knowing when to roll on 7 vs 8 will be important in deciding where you’ll be placing

Which Augments to Pick?
Harmacist is really solid with any Sett tethers since your team can convert overheal into damage. It’s worth taking if you have already secured BIS on your carries. The rest are pretty self-explanatory, name of the game is STALL + BIS.

What to Play on Stage 2?
Fated opener where Ahri holds Aphelios/Syn items and Yasuo holds tank items. Senna Ghostly opener is equally viable but just a little bit more tedious to pivot into Aphelios. If you can’t make a good board, you can absolutely sac HP to secure bows on the carousel.

What to Play Mid-Game?
By 3-2 or 3-5 you should know if you can commit to Fated. Your mid-game board revolves around 5 Fated + 2 Sniper. 7 Fated is really solid if you either high roll Sett or have a Fated emblem. Below are some sample boards.

Which Fated Units to Tether?
- Yasuo + Ahri: Early
- Yasuo + Thresh: Default for early, falls off late
- Sett + Thresh: Default for late, allows units to survive against enemies with backline access (Irelia, Yone,). Very strong.
- Sett + Syndra: Great for frontloaded damage, but niche

How to Increase Board Cap?
Consider the Big Three of Lissandra, Ornn, and Udyr. Lissandra is great at disrupting big tanks, Udyr can snipe the backline, and Ornn adds beefiness. Honorable mention to Hwei.

Usable Exalted Combinations?
This list is a sample and isn’t exhaustive.
- Ahri, Amumu, Lee Sin
- Ahri, Qiyana, Gnar, Ashe
- Caitlyn, Yorick/Volibear/Tristana/Nautilus, Syndra
- Caitlyn, Thresh, Irelia
- Jax, Thresh, Ashe
- Senna, Yorick, Amumu, Syndra
What to Play if Contested
Aphelios 2*/Thresh 2*/Syndra 1* can potentially carry you all the way to Level 9 where you can pivot into capped legendaries.
Here are some variations that can make good use of the typical items you would slam on this comp.

Closing Notes
This comp when played right can contest the likes of Bard, Yone, and Fast 9 boards due to sheer tankiness + scalability.
It is important to keep in mind that this is a stall comp and should be treated as such.
